Changing Things Up...

This is a week of changes!
I started my new job yesturday and so far i love it!
I now work in town (or on the verge of town i guess i should say), i get up 30 mins later, and get home 30 mins earlier! woohoo! My new job is great, my new boss is great everything is just awesome!

Since it is a week of changes, I am also changing up my gym! I now am a member of the YMCA which is a 3 min drive from my house and a 15 min walk! and classes are all included in the membership (unlike my other gym). Tomorow night I am starting out with their Spin class, they also have one on Saturday mornings that i plan on attending! I am also very excited for all of there yoga classes, and an ab class, and a whole load of other ones! I am uber excited about it, in case you couldnt tell!

Since i have a new job, i had to buy new clothes (thats just the way it works), espcially since i used to work at site and could wear hoodies and jeans everyday.
I bought a ton of nice things, and spent a lil to much money, so no shopping for the next month :)

Our best friends had a baby boy last week, and he is sooo cute! They are such natural parents too, which is cool to see!

I havent weighed myself in the past 5 days, so i am unsure as to where i am at.. but my ring has been loose lately, so maybe i am down? or i am just not bloated, hehe..

fustrated..

he is jeremys cousin and he rents out our basement room.
This summer we caught him deep frying in his room.. yes you heard me deep frying in his bedroom.. a bedroom that is small, with a low ceiling and has CARPET!
so I lectured him on why he should not be deep frying in his room, and how he has full use of our kitchen where he can store the deep fryer and use it to his hearts content..
but lately there is a weird smell coming up the vents once in awhile, guess what it smells like? you guessed it, deep fryer grossness!
so i went down to his room today and asked him if he had or was cooking something, and i got an "uh... no...." and he wouldnt open his door, he said he was busy... so yea i feel lied to.. you cant deny that smell..
anways my darling fiance will have to deal with this when he returns
rant over...

TGIF

So last night went very well!
I had a piece of WW toast w/ all natural PB when i got home from work.
For supper, my fabulous fiance brought me home some sushi! yummers! he had sushi for lunch and brought the extra home for my supper!! I had some avacodo rolls, some spicy tuna rolls and 2 california rolls!
i munched on a few dried cranberries a little bit later too!
but the good news is I made it Day 1 without any sweets!
oh and i also went for a run/walk!

Tonight we are hitting up the gym, and i think i am going to do the dreaded legs.. and then chest or triceps...

Today for food this is what i am having:
1/3 cup dry oatmeal w/ 1 tbsp dried cranberries mixed in
1 cup grapes
1 cup of tea

1 rice cake with 1 tbsp of all natural pb
1 apple

lunch will be:
1 flax seed wrap w/ 3 oz. of chicken and 1/2 tbsp of fat free mayo and then a spinach salad
1 cup carrots

afternoon snack is a yogurt!

Tonight for supper i think i am going to make chicken quesadillas and home made fries! yummy!

This weekend jer is teaching me some hockey skills, as I am going to play on a girls hockey team for the rest of the season.
I have played ringette all of my life (except the last 2 years) and i miss skating!
I tried to play on the womans team here in fort mac.. but i did not enjoy it, at all! i had to force myself to go!
One of our friends (met through other friends) is on a womans hockey team and the need some players, so she asked me to come out.
I have never played hockey before, but i am good skater, so i should survive!!

Besides that i do not have much on the radar this weekend... i plan on making some sample wedding invites, making some baby shower decorations, and cleaning my house!!

Todays Goal...

No Sweets!
except for the all natural ones like fruit.
I think i have an addiction to sweets, so i am now staying away from them all!
No more cereals or candies or chocolate...
nothing with over 5 grams of sugar.

Chocolate, oh How I Love You...

So last night went downhill..
Went to the gym after work and did biceps and shoulders!
But...
then we went to moxies with friends, i had 3 wings, some brushetta, and 1 piece of med bread.. a caeser salad w/ no dressing (but i ate my bread), and then 1/3rd of a white chocolate brownie..
It is so hard to eat good when appetizers are ordered, and then someone orders desert...
Oh well today was a new day and i did quite good!
I did have a piece of chocolate as the easter bunny (aka a guy in my office) handed out some treats today...
For supper i had a pita pizza for 6 pts.
I am all out of pts for the day, and plan on going for a run in an hour!

Tomorow will be a good day too!!

Long Awaited Update...

Life has been hetic!!
Heres a shortened update since the last time I posted:
- i went to vegas for 5 days, and planned 70% of my wedding
- i am a new aunty to a baby girl named Emerson
- i have a new job (within the same company, i dont start until March 30th)

Well i guess that doesnt sound like to too much, but it has been busy, but I am now stress free regarding my job and i have gotten back into exercising! Yay!

One of my #1 problems with loosing weight, is the two sides of my brain...
When i go to do something bad (like eat a piece of cake, that i dont have the points for), the one side of my head is, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, PUT IT DOWN".. and then the stronger side is "Oh this is going to be yummy, so so yummy eat it quick before you realize what you are doing".
The bad side always wins out ... i need to fix this ...

So I am back to weighing 142, I am on 21 pts a day, and i am going to rock at finally loosing some weight, and getting my body toned to perfection!

Here is what I ate today:
oatmeal w/ splenda - 2
strawberries - 1

kashi granola bar - 2

spinach salad - 0
3 oz chicken - 3
1 tbsp all natural peanut butter - 2
apple - 1

yellow pepper cut up - 0
piece of cake - 5 (grrr...)

16 gone, 5 remain

Supper plan is possibly going out. So I WILL eat a chicken caeser salad (w/ no dressing).
I am hitting up the gym after work to do some weight training for 1 hour, and if time alots, I plan on doing 16 mins of running (4 mins running & 2 mins walking X 4).

Thats my plan!

What is up with this?

I am still sick, and I think i now have an ear infection. To make matters worse work has been going bonkers lately.. lets just say that working for a major oilsands company that just announced that it is putting all of its Major Projects on hold, when you work in major projects, isnt a good thing! I still have a job, it just means that i have no idea what my future holds.. talk about stress!!
If all that wasnt going on at work, i would probably make a doctors apt and be able to get to it.. but taking off in the middle of day probably isnt to good of an idea right now.. and my doctor only works tuesdays and thursdays until 3PM.. oh and our walk in clinic is only open until 5PM. So i either go and wait in the hospital waiting room for 5 hours tonight, or tough it out and see if i can sneak out of work on friday...

Besides all of that garbage i have been eating good this week! My WI is tomorow, so we shall see what the scale says!
No exercise yet this week, which is not a good thing, i hope to still squeeze a few workouts out in before the end of the week...
